AssociatesProfessor Kamran EshraghianKamran Eshraghian is best known in the international arena as “the grandfather” of CMOS VLSI Design influencing two generation of VLSI designers. He obtained his PhD, MEngSc, and BTech degrees from the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He is currently the President of Eshraghian Laboratories an enterprise established to foster development of micro, nano and bio-based electronics with that of the light wave technology. He is a distinguished world expert in the field of Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) systems and circuits. His achievements include pioneering research work in VLSI technology encapsulated in the standard text Principles of CMOS VLSI Design: A Systems Perspective- referred to as the “bible” of computer chip design in the international arena. In May 2004, in recognition of his research into the marriage of Microelectronic with that of photonics, he was awarded the Doctor of Engineering e.h. by the University of Ulm, Germany. Murray MeatonMurray Meaton is the Director of Economics Consulting Services Pty. Ltd. He was formerly the manager of the Perth office of ACiL Economics & Policy, and prior to that had 25 years of Government experience at a State and Federal Level. Murray has completed more than 230 consulting assignments over the past 8 years. Murray's fields of expertise include the economics of the agricultural, mining, petroleum and water sectors, corporate and strategic planning and public relations. Allan TeedeAllan is Principal Consultant for Economics Consulting Services Pty. Ltd. He was formerly the Manager of the Policy Branch in the Western Australian Department of Minerals and Energy. He has over 20 years experience in economics research, analysis and policy development and in the State Government Departments of Treasury, Premiers, Resources Development and Housing. Allan has completed more than 20 consulting assignments in the past 3 years with ECS. Allan has experience across a broad range of economic areas, applying these skills in a directly practical manner to diverse real world issues and developing solutions to difficult problems.
